Accounts & subscriptions
Your account manages plans and provides subscription details; the client establishes the connection. Keep your login details safe, then use the dashboard to get and manage subscription settings on each device.
Do I need an email address to create an account?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can keep track of, and set a unique password for VPNQB. Once your account is created, make sure you can sign in to the dashboard before exploring plans and client downloads. Because your account isn’t tied to an email address, don’t assume email recovery will be available. Save your login details in a trusted password manager, sign out on shared devices, and never include your password in ticket screenshots.
Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I import it into a client?
Sign in to your account dashboard and find the subscription link in the account overview. Then visit the client downloads section to get an app for your operating system. In the app, use its subscription import feature and paste the entire link from your dashboard. Don’t repeatedly open it as if it were a regular web address. Once imported, you should see a list of routes; choose one and connect. Available subscription options depend on your account status. Direct installer links and shareable subscription URLs aren’t published on the website.
How do I update my subscription link, and when should I refresh it?
You can usually update an existing subscription from the client’s subscription or configuration management page. The exact menu name varies by client. Refresh the subscription and choose a route again if route details in your dashboard have changed or the client’s list differs significantly from the dashboard. If the update fails, check that your internet connection works, your account is active, and the link is complete. If you’ve reset the link, replace the old one. Don’t repeatedly delete your configuration just to refresh routes, or you may lose custom split-tunneling settings.
Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?
There’s no device limit, so you don’t need to buy another plan just because you’ve switched devices. VPNQB supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Sign in to the same account on your new device and get the appropriate client and subscription link from the dashboard. Device limits and data allowances are separate: keep an eye on your plan and data usage across devices. Unlimited devices doesn’t mean unlimited data. Before retiring an old device, remove any saved login details and subscription settings.
What should I do if my subscription link is exposed?
Your subscription link contains information used to retrieve your account’s route configuration, so protect it like your login credentials. If you’ve shared it in a public group, screenshot, or shared document, stop distributing it and check your account dashboard for an option to reset the subscription. If you can’t find one, contact support through a ticket. After resetting the link, replace the old one on every device. Changing your password and resetting your subscription link are separate actions; don’t assume a password change automatically invalidates an exposed link.

Connections & troubleshooting
First check your local network, then review your configuration, proxy mode, and target app. Change one setting at a time and keep track of the results; this usually makes it easier to find the cause than reinstalling everything.
My client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I do?
A connected status only means the client has established a connection; it doesn’t guarantee that a particular website is reachable. First, turn off the proxy and check whether everyday websites load on your local network. If you’re on public Wi-Fi, complete its sign-in process if needed. Then turn the client back on and check the selected route, proxy mode, and account data status. Try other websites and a different route to see whether the problem affects just one site. Change one setting at a time and keep any error messages, so you can identify the cause instead of changing routes, DNS, and split-tunneling rules all at once.
Why does my browser work, but a particular app won’t use the proxy?
Your browser and app may use different network paths. Some apps ignore system proxy settings, or a client’s split-tunneling rules may send them directly. So a working browser doesn’t mean the app is using the proxy. Check the client’s connection log or rule matches and see whether the app or its domain is excluded. If the client offers a virtual network adapter or equivalent traffic-capture mode, check its permissions as directed. Don’t leave all traffic in global proxy mode by default. Run a temporary comparison first to determine whether the issue is split tunneling or the service itself.
The subscription imported successfully, but the route list is still empty. Why?
First, check your account dashboard to confirm that your account has an active subscription, and review your plan and data status. Make sure you imported the complete subscription link, not a dashboard page address, truncated text, or a link from an old screenshot. Some clients separate downloaded configurations from enabled ones, so select the configuration you just imported before viewing its routes. If the client reports an unsupported format, use the import method specified in your dashboard. If the list is still empty, submit a ticket with the client name, operating system, error message, and steps you took. Hide the subscription link in screenshots.
My connection drops after sleep or a network change. What should I check first?
When a device wakes from sleep, switches from Wi-Fi to another network, or gets a new network address, it may need to reconnect. Once it’s back online, confirm that the network works, check that the client is still running and its configuration is enabled, then reconnect manually to compare. On mobile devices, check system restrictions on background activity and battery saving, and set the required permissions as described by the client. If the problem keeps happening on one network, note the network conditions and error message. Don’t disable all system security or battery-saving features just to keep the connection active.
How can I submit a ticket that makes troubleshooting easier?
Sign in to your account dashboard and open the ticket page. Include your device’s operating system, client name, selected region, network conditions, and the specific action that isn’t working. Say whether the issue is constant or intermittent, which websites or apps are affected, and what troubleshooting steps you’ve tried. Error screenshots and reviewed logs can help, but hide your password, full subscription link, and other account credentials first. If your issue involves an order, include only the relevant order details. Add follow-up results to the same ticket to keep the troubleshooting context in one place.
Check screenshots before submittingYour account password and full subscription link aren’t needed to diagnose an issue and shouldn’t be shared publicly. Hide sensitive information first, then add the error message and troubleshooting results through a ticket in your account dashboard.
Speed & routes
Cross-border access depends on your local network, the route you choose, and the service you’re trying to reach. Choose a route based on the app you use; region names and test results are only part of the picture.
Choosing a route for the first time: should I focus on the region or the route name?
VPNQB covers 100+ countries / 190+ routes. Start by checking which region the service you want to use requires, then consider the route details in your dashboard and how well it works in practice. Tokyo, Los Angeles, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Sydney are examples of regions in the network, not a fixed speed ranking. A shorter geographic distance can mean a shorter route, but your local network, internet routing, and the service’s location also matter. Test with everyday websites or the app you plan to use before choosing a regular route. Don’t judge by the route name or a single test result alone.
My connection slows down during peak hours. Should I upgrade my plan?
First, work out whether the problem is local network congestion or the route you selected. Pause bandwidth-heavy downloads, check your Wi-Fi signal, and try other websites to assess your local connection. Then compare another route in the same region, or a suitable route in a different region, and see whether the app works better. For video, temporarily lower the quality; for calls, prioritize a steady connection. Plan prices and data allowances don’t prove that a route will be faster at peak hours, so an upgrade isn’t a default fix. If the problem keeps recurring, note the network conditions and submit a ticket.
My speed test looks good, so why are video and calls still lagging?
A speed test may connect to a different destination from the servers used by a video or meeting app. Its results only reflect part of the route at that moment. Streaming and calls are also affected by packet loss, jitter, Wi-Fi quality, device decoding, and the app’s service status. Compare the same app on different routes and pause background sync tasks. If only one service is affected, check its regional requirements and service status first. Your experience over time is more useful than a single test reading; one test can’t show that every app will work reliably.
Does connecting through a particular region guarantee access to streaming or AI tools?
Choosing a region is only one part of meeting a service’s access requirements; it can’t guarantee continued availability. Streaming platforms and AI tools may also check your account region, subscription eligibility, exit network, and their own service policies, which can change. If you see a region-related message, check the service’s account and regional requirements, then confirm that the app is routed through your selected route. You can reopen the app after switching routes to compare, but avoid repeatedly changing your account region. The service’s own rules determine which features and content are available.
What does anonymous no-logs mean? Do I still need to provide logs for troubleshooting?
VPNQB describes its privacy approach as anonymous, no-logs; see the privacy policy for details about data handling. Diagnostic information generated locally by a client is separate from server-side logging practices. When troubleshooting, you can share relevant error messages or reviewed diagnostic excerpts instead of uploading your full browsing history. Hide your full subscription link, credentials, and unrelated personal information before submitting anything. If you’re unsure whether a log contains sensitive information, describe the symptoms first and ask through a ticket what details are needed.
Billing & refunds
First distinguish between a monthly plan and a data pack, then check your order and account status. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date; data packs are used until depleted and never expire. See the policy page for refund terms.
How much is a monthly plan, and when does the data allowance reset?
Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the start of the calendar month. Estimate your usage based on everyday browsing, video, and file transfers, then check actual consumption in your account overview. Remember to account for all your devices. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days; check your dashboard for the exact account details. Visit the plans page to compare all options, and don’t treat a monthly allowance as a daily quota.
What’s the difference between a data pack and a monthly plan?
Data packs are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They expire only when used up and never expire based on time. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date. A data pack suits occasional or irregular use, while a monthly plan is better for steady usage throughout the month. “Never expires” refers to the data pack’s validity period; data is still consumed, and the pack doesn’t include unlimited data. If you plan to use different billing options on the same account, check the dashboard for details on when they take effect and how data is deducted. Don’t assume allowances will be combined.
Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my account status doesn’t update after payment?
VPNQB supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Create an order in your account dashboard and follow the instructions on the relevant payment page. After paying, check the status in your account overview or order page. If the payment provider shows the payment as complete but your dashboard hasn’t updated, refresh the order and confirm you’re viewing the same account and order. Don’t rush to pay twice. If the status still differs, submit a ticket with the order details and a redacted payment receipt. Never post payment receipts, account passwords, or subscription links publicly, and don’t change payment instructions based on messages from outside the website.
How do I request a refund, and what information should I provide?
VPNQB offers a 14-day refund policy. To request a refund, sign in to your account dashboard, open a ticket, clearly state that you’d like a refund, and provide the relevant order details for verification. See the refund policy and terms of service for the full eligibility details. Requesting a refund is separate from disconnecting your client or deleting its configuration; stopping use doesn’t submit a request. If you’re also experiencing connection problems, include that information in your ticket. Don’t use your password or full subscription link to prove your identity, and hide unnecessary personal information in payment screenshots.
How are mid-cycle upgrades charged, and what should I choose if I need more data?
For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Monthly plan data still resets each month on your activation date. If you need more data, check your usage and plan status in the account dashboard, then compare the upgraded plan with a data pack that never expires. Don’t estimate the effective date based only on the listed price difference or assume an upgrade immediately resets billing to the start of the calendar month. Check the result shown in your dashboard before submitting an order. If the billing details don’t match what you see in your account, submit a ticket with your current plan and relevant order details so support can help verify them.
